This Week's City Meetings - Tuesday Update

A host of municipal meetings in Meriden this week include a presentation by the City Council to Christmas in the Village Day organizers with a Spirit of Meriden Award.

There is a Special Meeting of the Advisory Board on Aging scheduled for 9 a.m. at the Senior Center, 22 West Main St., Meriden. Per the agenda, the board is scheduled to discuss Meriden Senior Pride Day, Senior Center member recruitment, and plans for a rear entrance project.

City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in Room 206, Council Chambers, City Hall, 142 East Main St. Councilors are scheduled to award the Christmas in the Village Day organizers with a Spirit of Meriden Award, discuss a choice neighborhoods grant application, among other items.

***Added: The Finance Committee will hold a special meeting in Council Chambers to discuss Capital Improvement Projects proposed in the City Manager's FY 2012-2013 budget.

The Zoning Board of Appeals is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. in Room 131, City Hall.

The Board of Education is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Ed Meeting Room at 22 Liberty St, Meriden.

The Design Review Board is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.

The city's Conservation Commission is slated to meet at 6 p.m. in room 28, City Hall.

The Inland Wetlands Watercourse Commission is slated to meet at 6:30 p.m. in room 131 at City Hall.

Thursday, April 5, 2012

The Human Services Committee is set to meet at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.

The School Building Committee is scheduled to have a meeting at 7 p.m. in the Board of Ed Meeting Room at 22 Liberty Street.
