Mental Health First Aid Training

Rushford is offering in Meriden and Wallingford during the month of February. 

Mental Health First Aid is a 12-hour interactive training course designed to teach key skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Sessions are currently scheduled for February 3 and February 10, 2012.

Mental Health First Aid training is useful for:
- primary care professionals
- employers, human resources professionals and business leaders
-school personnel, nurses and educators
- first-responders, fire, police
- youth serving nonprofits
- mental health authorities
- state policymakers
- community volunteers
- general public.
