Meriden Schools to Get Four New Teachers as Enrollment Grows

Kindergarten, two first-grade and a reading teacher will be added at the elementary school level.

Meriden Public School students will be introduced to four new teachers, after the 25-per-classroom limit was reached at the start of the year, says Superintendent of Schools Mark D. Benigni, according to the Record Journal.

Many parents registered their children late in the summer or in the first few days of classes, the RJ reports. The 2013-2014 school year began Aug. 28 in Meriden.
