Allison Pomeroy, O. H. Platt High school senior, has been awarded a grant from The Q. Walter Peabody Foundation. The grant is awarded to Meriden School students who demonstrate ability in Art and writing. In this case the funds will help purchase needed Art materials. Allison plans a One Woman Art Show featuring her beautiful animal themed oil and acrylic paintings. The show will be held later in the school year at one of Meriden's fine art galleries.
