What have you learned in school that makes you a better writer? I’ve learned in school grammar and how to put sentences together in a paragraph.

What is your favorite book? My favorite book is “The Chocolate Touch” by Patrick Skene Catling.

What do you like to do outside of school? I like to do my homework and go to a friend’s house. I also like doing cheerleading.

My Life in the Jungle

One day, I took a trip to the jungle. Some monkeys persuaded me to stay. They said that we can drink coconut milk and eat bananas! Mmmmm! That sounded tasty. They also said that we can live in a tree house. Then they said, “We can make strawberry-banana smoothies. “Yummy! What else can we make?” They said, “Let’s see… ooh we can make a humongous banana split!”

Then we quickly started making the banana split. We took about 20 bananas and shaped it into a really big banana. Then we took a big scoop and put three scoops of vanilla ice-cream in the banana split. After we put the ice-cream we put strawberries and pineapples on the sides. Then we took a big can of whipped cream and put some on the banana split. Then last but not least we put hot fudge on the banana split. Finally, we took our spoons and ate it all up!

It was so good! Then we went up to the tree house and played games. We played Monkeyopoly and I won, of course. We also played Monkey in the Middle, Chase the Monkey, and Hop Over the Monkey. Then it was 10:00pm so we got ready to go to sleep. We read A Monkey Story. Then we said our monkey nights and went to sleep. Snore!
