What have you learned in school that makes you a better writer? Our teacher taught us to use better words. Instead of saying "I was mad" you could say "I was livid”. I also learned about alliteration.

What is your favorite book?  Black Beauty

What do you like to do outside of school?  I like to ride my bike, read, and do my homework.

Savannah’s Writing:

Is your favorite season summer?  Summer is a beautiful season.  It is warm, you can hear many different noises, and it's light out longer. I remember when it was 106°ᶠ once during the summer.  Heat waves occur when it's over 90°ᶠ for a certain number of days.  July is the hottest month, therefore, it's my favorite month. In the summertime, you can hear crickets chirping at night, smell a charcoal grill, and see flowers blooming.  You can see and also hear fireworks on the 4th of July.

2 out of 6 people in my house love summer.  I love it because I can stay outside longer with my friends.  Lots of people stay out very late.  I listen to the katydids, and enjoy the warmth.

Do you love the boiling hot temperatures?  Do you enjoy hearing and seeing bats fly and make noises?  Do you adore it being daylight longer?

If you do, you've got to love summer!
