The Meriden Black Expo celebrates and shares the rich heritage of African-American culture. Enjoy musical performances by local church choirs; jazz; a wide selection of food, clothing, and merchandise vendors; dancing and other entertainment; and many activities/rides for children.
The scholarship competition winner and the newly selected Meriden Black Expo Teen Ambassador 2011, selected the evening before, will be introduced and honored during this event, along with all the contestants.
The parade starts from the Hub at 11am.
