The Boys and Girls Club of Meriden will hold its annual Alumni Association Meriden Hyundai Golf Tournament, Dinner and 3M Silent Auction on Thursday, September 8, 2011.
The golf tournament will be held at Hunter's Golf Club. The tournament features men's and women's divisions. The dinner and auction will take place at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington after the tournament.
The funds generated from these events go directly to programs to provide more than 2,900 boys and girls with a positive place to go every day after school.

The Golf Tournament will include:
- 18 Hole Competition - Scramble Format
- Long and Straight Drive Contest and Putting Contest - $5,000
- Raffle Prizes
- Hole in One Contest - $10,000
- Gifts for All Players
- Special Par 3 Contests
- Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Soda on the course
- Goodie Bag for Each Golfer!

Schedule:
- Continental Breakfast donated by Dunkin Donuts 9 - 11am
- Registration and Putting Contest - 9:15am
- Shotgun Starts - 10:45am load carts, 11am play begins
The Aqua Turf Dinner will include four carving stations, clams on the half shell, wine, beer and soda. Dinner will take place 5 - 9pm.
The 3M Silent and Live Auction includes items such as trips and vacations, jewelry, gourmet dinners, etc. The Silent Auction will be held 5 - 7pm. The Live Auction will begin at 7:15pm.
