Meriden Public Schools open for the 2013-14 school year on Wednesday. Check out the school calendar here.
On Monday, the Library Board of Directors meets at 4:30 p.m. at the Board of Directors Room, 105 Miller St., and the Meriden Housing Authority meets at 5:30 p.m. at 22 Church St.
On Tuesday, the City Council's Finance Committee meets at 6 p.m. in room 206, Council Chambers, City Hall, 142 East Main St.
The Meriden Public Library has several events going on this week, including:
Monday 8/26 Scrabble players meet at 2 p.m.
Tuesday 8/27 e-Reader drop in session from 1 – 3 p.m. Bring in your e-reader and a librarian will assist with searching and downloading e-books from our catalog, AND sign up for a computer class at 7 p.m. This weeks topic is searching the library catalog and learning about our databases.
