St. Stanislaus School was established in 1897 to educate the children of Polish immigrants who founded the church of the same name. The school has grown to become the largest of the three Catholic schools in Meriden. Besides full-day programs for kindergarten through eighth grade, the school offers preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds. Before- and after-school programs are also available.
