Maria Kontothanasis, the daughter of owners John and Jenny, is a 1999 graduate of Maloney High School and works between Zorba's and Laskara, the family's other Greek restaurant, in Wallingford.</p> <p>Walking into Zorba's, you feel transported to rustic Greece by the fine linens, custom Grecian murals and decor and friendly family-like atmosphere.
