The K-8 school's longevity can be credited to its innovative teaching methods, embrace of cutting-edge technology like electronic whiteboards and the committed support of its extensive community of staff, parents, students and alumni.</p> <p>According to principal Kathy Spencer, in standardized tests her students perform above grade level in all areas at all levels, with language arts scores two and three years above grade level. The student body is currently about 90 percent Catholic, but St. Joseph is open to families of all faiths.</p>
