Voted Best American Restaurant in the Record Journal…More </em>Readers Poll for eight years running, Sans Souci serves only certified Angus beef. From appetizers like Mozzarella en Carrozza (mozzarella cheese in Italian bread, dipped in egg and fried until golden brown, served with marinara or anchovy caper sauce) to entrees such as Tenderloin of Pork (grilled and served with a raspberry demi glaze), the food is skillfully prepared and artfully presented.</p> <p>This Continental-American restaurant can seat 140, not counting the bar. A room for private parties accommodates up to 55 people. During the week, a separate lunch menu is available.</p>

When Cutrole retired in 1998, he sold the business to the Santiago family, who have remained true to the original recipes. Many of the customers here are regulars who know each other and the staff by name. Free delivery is available 11 am to 3 pm with a minimum $15 order.
